The site is very useful in getting contact with people that you have lost contact with. You can search by username, email, or display name. You can also have a page open to the public and more than likely your lost friends can find you. It is free to sign up. The only thing that I can see that is giving myspace some sort of competition is youtube. According to www.alexa.com , www.youtube.com is ranked#6 and www.myspace.com is #5 as of today.
