Grand Central Invites

Have you heard about GrandCentral? It's a service now owned by Google that will allow you to have a free number that you can use for all your numbers. Once you are assigned a number, you would plug in a number that you want it to call. This is the number that you would give to your friends, co-workers, bill collectors etc. You can then choose the option of having each called screened(meaning the caller will have to announce their name) and choose to accept the call or reject. Or you can decide not to screen it but you can still choose to accept or reject it but the caller wont know you have screened the call. They even have options where you can decide when to take calls from certain people(like set hours) or you can choose to always have a call forwarded to voice mail or even sneakier play a disconnected option to make the caller think your number has been disconnected. Once you get a number from GrandCentral, it's your number for life. They have different ring choices you can choose from and all types of gadgets to play around with. You can even call a person back with your GrandCentral number. I have been using it for over a month now and I love it!

Only catch is right now it is by invitation only. If you don't receive an invite you can also go to the site and be added to a waiting list or just google grandcentral invites to see if anyone have any to spare.

I am willing to give one away to a random person that person that leaves me a comment. Each user is only allowed 10 so I am only giving one away today. I might decide to do it again down the road. So if you're interested or have any feed back leave me a comment.

Maybe we can develop an idea to post about it and exchange links back to the person you got it from. Hmmm. :)

Thanks Digital Nomad for the link.

***I am giving away an invite on PimpMyBlog. Just reply to the post and please come back and share one with the next person at the forum***

Annual Credit Report

If you need to check your credit report, then you can get a free credit report from Annual Credit Report. You're only allowed one per year. There is absolutely no fee ever! NO need to give them your credit card number like the other "so called free sites" always want. If its free then its free. No need for the hassle of cancelling anything before the expiration date. I have already used it and basically you have to answer a few questions about yourself and verify some of your bills and then you can view your credit report.

Have you used this site? Do you like it? I think it's pretty cool and best of all it's FREE.

Phone for your Home Business

I just came across Private Phone. This is a site where you can get a free phone number and voicemail. If you already have a telephone and internet access then you can just sign up, get your additional phone number and check your voicemail over the phone or online. I found out about this on the wahm forum so I think I am going to give it a try.

Here is a link to their faq

If you have experience with this or know of any other sites, please leave a comment.
