Applying For Work From Home Jobs

If you are trying to enter the work at home job world for the first time, then it is better to read through all of the work from home jobs and see which ones are a good fit for you. If you love the phones, then call center jobs maybe for you. If you love to type then try applying for medical transcription. If writing is your expertise, then writing jobs would fit right up your alley.

If you are applying for more than one type of job, you should have a resume written towards the type of job you are applying for. Don't use your customer service resume to apply for a medical transcription job. If you have never worked before then highlight what you are good in.

Getting Your Tax ID

Sometimes when you work from home, some companies require you to get your own tax id. This means you will have your own business and will be responsible for setting money aside for your taxes since you will be an independent contractor. If you need help you can go to Legal Zoom to get started with the process. You can also go to IRS website and it will provide you step by step information on how to get started.

Google Pays Home Workers: Work From Home Job

Work from home with Google as an Ads Quality Rater. Right now it looks like all the English speaking positions are taken but if you speak German or Korean then you still can apply. If you research the forums, contractors wont say much about it because they have to sign a non-disclosure agreement so you may not find much regarding the position and the pay. Periodically check the site because they do hire English positions. The pay range that I have heard others say was $10-$19 per hour. It is a pretty good position and it seems like it is hard to get in.

If you have any feedback, leave a comment.

Working From Home Can Save You Money

If you have been considering to work from home but don't think you can match your current office salary, then there are some things you should write down and compare.

Average work outside the house mom(wohm) makes $12.50 an hour which is $500 weekly
Daycare costs for child under 2 is $250 a week
Gas $30 a week to get to work
Clothes for work - estimate $20 a week
Lunch(fast food), $4 a day average spender- $20 a week

This leaves the work outside the house mom with $180 (before taxes) a week to help contribute to bills in the house.

Average work at home mom(wahm) makes $8 an hour $320 a week
Daycare costs $0
Gas to get to work $0
Clothes for work $0(go shopping in your closet for pjs, lol)
Lunch $0, time to go to the kitchen

This leaves the work from mom with $320, also taxes are normally not taking out. Bigger tax break when tax time comes.

In this scenario, it is better to work from home if you have to pay for daycare. Here's a short list of work from home jobs.
